BeakBrain learns from open, community-sourced media. When a bird is missing a photo or a call, you can help fill the gap so everyone can learn it by sight and sound.
Add a photo
Upload your bird photos to iNaturalist or Wikimedia Commons under an open licence. BeakBrain draws its images from these open sources, so a photo you share there can reach the whole community.
Add a recording
Upload bird calls and songs to Xeno-canto, the open library of bird sound. This is where BeakBrain sources its recordings, and it is the fastest way to give a silent species its voice.

Not sure where to start, or want a species prioritised? Email hello@beakbrain.com with the species name and your photo or recording, and we will take it from there.
Spotted a wrong or blurry photo in the app? Tap "Report this photo" on the bird's page. Those reports come straight to us so we can swap it out.
